Introduction to LSCB
The East Riding Safeguarding Children Board (ERSCB) was established on 1st April 2006 and replaced the Joint Hull and East Riding Area Child Protection Committee (ACPC). Its main role is to improve outcomes for children by co-ordinating the safeguarding of children in East Riding and promoting children's welfare. It is the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how the relevant organisations within the community will co-operate and for ensuring the effectiveness of what they do.
